Harold Park Baptist Church was established in 1928 on the land at the junction of Ingreway and Harold Court Road. The first building was a timber-framed mission hall, which has been extended and added to over the years to become the present building.

Although originally part of the Essex Baptist Association and later went on to join the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches in 1959.
